The ID-50A is a compact dual-bander (2m/70cm), making it the perfect on-the-go handheld. The easy D-STAR settings allow for a quick menu selection to call a friend locally or talk to regions around the world. Enhance QSO opportunities by taking advantage of various smart features.

Dualwatch

Monitor two FM or D-STAR repeaters simultaneously. Additionally, monitor two signals in same band with the VHF/VHF, VHF/UHF, or UHF/UHF. Quickly respond to calls and double QSO opportunities.

Waterfall Display

The large full-dot LCD shows real-time band conditions with the Waterfall display and Band Scope. View active channels or open frequencies.

Share Picture Function

In DV mode, use the ST-ID50A/W app (Google Play™) to exchange photos and QSO cards.

Built-in GPS receiver

The ID-50A displays current Grid Square information. This GPS position data can be used for Position Auto Reply, Near Repeater Search and GPS log functions.

Easy D-STAR Settings

Connect to D-STAR repeaters from anywhere with an internet connection. When connected via PC or Android™ device, use the Terminal Mode to send voice and data over the internet to D-STAR repeaters. The ID-50A can also serve as an access point for other D-STAR radios using the Access Point mode.

Multi-function USB Type-C™ Port

The ID-50A has a USB type-C port for charging and PC programming.*
