Icom Sponsors State QSO Party Challenge

KIRKLAND, Wash. (March 2020) – Icom America announces their partnership with the organizers of the State QSO Party Challenge for 2020 and 2021. As a partner, Icom America Inc will assist with costs associated with the five level awards.

“This is not our first time to be involved with QSO Parties, as we have worked with the organizers of the Hawaii QSO Party as well as the NAQP RTTY events,” says Ray Novak, N9JA, Senior Sales Manager at Icom. “The State QSO Parties are a fun way to complete awards like Worked All States, not to mention a great way to help others get on the air for the first time!” As a leader in developing state-of-the art shortwave and VHF/UHF equipment, Icom is honored to support this challenge and future SQP events

The annual State QSO Party Challenge recognizes all radio amateurs’ participation in the U.S. State and Canadian Province QSO parties. It is open to any radio amateur who participates in any of the approved State QSO Parties (SQPs). Participants must simply submit their scores to 3830Scores.com to be included in the Challenge. Qualifying participants will be awarded upon five levels of achievement–Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond (please visit StateQSOParty.com for the State QSO Party Challenge program details and rules).
