News Release

Dayton Hamvention 2019

KIRKLAND, Wash. (May 2019) – Icom will once again be at the largest amateur radio gathering of the year. The Dayton Hamvention® will be back at the Greene County Fairgrounds & Expo Center in Xenia, Ohio. It proved to be an excellent venue and we look forward to seeing everyone there again from May 17th – 19th, 2019.

The theme for this year's Hamvention is 'Amateur Radio...Serving the Community' which fits the Icom mission perfectly. Whether that community is an amateur radio club, a school, a community event, or an emergency, Icom has your communication requirements covered.

Visit booth 2508 in Building 2 (Tesla) to see the latest in Icom SDR tech as well as learn how to get the most out of your Icom radios! Spin the knobs on the new VHF/UHF SDR, the IC-9700, and learn how to squeeze that one last Q out of your IC-7610 HF/50 MHz all-mode transceiver. The used-gear internet-breaking IC-7300 will also be there, so you can see for yourself why every ham on HF seems to have at least one. And it doesn't stop there. We will also have the IC-V86 – our all new, MIL-SPEC, IP67 portable handheld radio, that is being called the 'Big Mouth' radio! Big Power, Big Audio!

Come stop by and see for yourself why Hams love and trust Icom.

Also, when you stop by our booth make sure to register for a chance to win Icom radios. Drawings will be held on both Friday and Saturday at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. You must be present to claim your prize.
