2017 Dayton Hamvention®: New Venue, New Radios

     

KIRKLAND, Wash. (May 2017) – Join Icom at the largest amateur radio gathering of the year! Dayton Hamvention® will be held at a NEW venue. Mark your calendars for May 19-21, 2017, and come visit Icom at the Greene County Fairgrounds & Expo Center in Xenia, Ohio. Swing by the Icom booth (2508) to see the latest Icom products. Plus do not forget to sign up for Hams to Japan Sweepstakes!

Radios all around! On display at booth 2508, will be Icom's newest radio with D-STAR technology, the ID-4100A. A compact and smart design, this is the perfect D-STAR companion with its intuitive interface and full dot-matrix display. Check out other new radios before they are released, like the R8600, R30 and the IC-7610.

The excitement and action goes beyond the main Icom booth at Hamvention®. EMCOMM-1 will be on the scene outside at booth 6001. Stop by to see this mobile, emergency communications vehicle, fully equipped with state-of-the-art Icom communication equipment. Ham Club JT65-DX will be on site as well at booth 2505. JT65 is a HF digital mode, with a large Japanese following. Join the fun of this weak signal mode with other amateur radio operations around the world. Finally, do not miss the "D-STAR Friday Evening Gathering, " May 19th, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Drury Inn Ballroom.
