Icom America Exhibits Avionics Radios at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013
Icom America is exhibiting two-way radio solutions at EAA AirVenture 2013 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. From July 29 to August 4, Oshkosh attendees can visit Icom booths #2149 and #2150 for exclusive show promotions. Icom is a repeat supporter for the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) flight line operations and is donating approximately 350 pieces of equipment to the organization for this year’s event.
Described as "The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration," EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2013 expects over 500,000 participants from more than 60 countries to attend the weeklong show. AirVenture events include daily airshows, live entertainment, forums, workshops and more. Icom returns to the annual summer event as a Silver Level sponsor. The company is showcasing its line of avionics handheld, panel mount and ground crew radios.
Oshkosh patrons who buy a new Icom A24 handheld or any other Icom radio at the show may choose between an Icom-branded bag and emergency kit as a free gift (while supplies last). Patrons who purchase an Icom A210/M/B panel mount radioduring the AirVenture 2013 event will receive a $100 mail-in rebate. Customers must provide proof of purchase at Icom’s booth #2149 and #2150 to receive promotions.
Wisconsin’s Wittman Regional Airport expects up to 10,000 aircrafts to fly into the event, designating Oshkosh as the world’s busiest airport for the week. To support AirVenture flight line operations, Icom is providing various communications items such as the F4011 Series portable and the A6 VHF handheld radios. Both radios are easy to use and meet rugged MIL-STD 810 military specifications.
