NXDN™ Forum Announces Further Member Expansion
(Suwanee, GA) – April 15, 2010 - The Chair of the NXDN™ Forum announced the addition of three
new members to the Forum during the General Meeting at IWCE in Las Vegas.
The NXDN™ Forum was established in July, 2008 with eight founding members including Kenwood Corporation, Icom
Incorporated, Kenwood USA Corporation, Icom America Incorporated, Aeroflex Wichita Inc., Daniels Electronics Ltd.,
Ritron Inc. and Trident Datacom Technologies, Inc. d/b/a Trident Micro Systems. The Forum was established for the
promotion of the NXDN™ digital air protocol for use with 6.25 kHz and 12.5 kHz narrowband technology.
During the General Meeting, three new members joined the NXDN™ Forum, including Connect Systems, Inc., Hoag
Electronics, Inc. and Pyramid Communications.
With the addition of these new members, the NXDN™ Forum has grown to 16 member companies with a versatile range
of backgrounds from radio and infrastructure manufacturers to software protocol stacks and measuring equipment providers.
